Pakistan team bowled out for 556 runs in the first innings: Multan Test

Pakistan team was all out by scoring 556 runs in the first innings against England.

On the first day of the Test yesterday, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan captain Shan Masood was the leading batsman with 151 runs. Shaan Masood faced 177 balls which included 13 fours and 2 sixes.

Opening batsman Abdullah Shafiq scored 102 runs while his fellow opening batsman Saeem Ayub was the guest of only 4 runs. They were followed by a fine partnership between captain Shaun Masood and Abdullah Shafiq and scored a total of 253 runs off 338 balls.

Abdullah Shafiq returned to the pavilion after scoring 102 runs, then captain Shaun Masood was out for 151, followed by Babar Azam who could only score 30 runs.

Today, on the second day of the game, the first wicket of the day fell to Naseem Shah, who was dismissed for 33 runs.

Saud Shakeel was out for 82 runs, Amir Jamal was out for 7 runs, Shaheen Afridi was out for 9 runs and Abrar Ahmed was out for 3 runs and thus Pakistan team managed to score 556 runs in the first innings.

On behalf of the English team, Gus Atkinson and Brayden Kearse took two wickets each while Jack Leech dismissed 3 players, Chris Woakes, Shoaib Bashir and Joe Root took one wicket each.
