The head of Bangladesh’s interim government, Mohammad Yunus, refused to give a fixed time for general elections.
While interviewing the Bangladeshi newspaper, Muhammad Yunus emphasized the need for reforms in the country and said that none of us wants to stay in the government for a long time, reforms in the country are necessary.
He said that if you say to hold elections, then we are ready, but holding elections before reforms will be a wrong decision.

He also says that once the judicial system is reformed, it will be clear who is to be tried and what the procedure will be.
