Karachi: Increase in cases of dengue, malaria, chikungunya and viral infections

Cases of dengue, malaria, chikungunya and viral infections are increasing in Karachi.

According to medical experts, 50, 50 patients come to Jinnah and Civil Hospitals each day with colds, fever, and body aches, suspected cases include dengue, malaria, chikungunya, and viral infection, patients.

Hospital sources say that there are no chikungunya testing kits in government hospitals.

According to the Sindh Health Department, 411 suspected cases of chikungunya have been reported in Sindh, of which 153 have been confirmed.

The provincial health department says that 1724 cases of dengue have been reported in Sindh this year and 1 death has been reported due to dengue in Sindh this year.

1484 dengue cases have been reported in Karachi.

The Health Department has said that 222 thousand 239 cases of malaria have been reported in Sindh this year, of which 1768 cases have been reported in Karachi.
