Karachi’s Business Community Launches New Airline “Air Karachi” with Rs 5 Billion Investment

The business community of Karachi has taken a bold step in boosting Pakistan’s aviation sector by launching a new airline, Air Karachi, with an initial investment of Rs 5 billion. This ambitious venture aims to enhance competition, improve passenger services, and provide significant job opportunities in the country.

Air Karachi is spearheaded by renowned entrepreneur Hanif Gohar and has already been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The airline is awaiting approval for its license and has outlined a clear plan for its initial phase. The airline’s management team is strengthened by the appointment of Retired Air Vice Marshal Imran as Chief Operating Officer (COO). His expertise is expected to ensure smooth operations and drive growth for the company.

Prominent business figures from Karachi, including Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Arif Habib, and others, have joined this initiative, providing financial stability and credibility to the project.
