Khurram Mushtaq has been appointed as the acting CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) following a decision by the PIA Board of Directors.
Mushtaq, a senior PIA executive with extensive experience in aviation, will take over after the tenure of Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat ends.
Previously, Mushtaq led various departments within PIA, including commercial, airport services, flight services, security, and vigilance.
Additionally, the Supreme Court of Pakistan allowed the government to proceed with the privatization of PIA, ensuring transparency in the process.
