Musmar Arif Siddiqui Survives Armed Kidnapping and Robbery in Karachi
Karachi: Musmar Arif Siddiqui has become the latest victim of lawlessness and unrest in the city. Last night, he was kidnapped by robbers, taken on a tour around the city, forced to empty his entire bank account, and then shot three times before being dumped just a few steps away from the Razzaqabad Police Station.
This is not an isolated incident, as street crimes have become rampant in Karachi, with authorities appearing helpless. Such an ordeal could happen to anyone. Over the past three months, several citizens have fallen prey to street crimes multiple times, losing not only mobile phones and cash but, in some cases, even their lives.
Fortunately, Musmar is now out of danger. He underwent surgery last night, and his family is praying for his speedy recovery.
