SP Banish Fatima Wins International Award, Brings Pride to Pakistan
Rawalpindi – SP Banish Fatima of Punjab Police has made Pakistan proud by receiving the prestigious IACP 2024 International Award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). The award was presented at a ceremony held in Boston, where the IACP president honored Banish Fatima for her outstanding contributions.
The IACP annually selects exceptional officers under the age of 40 from across the globe. The organization promotes public safety by recognizing the efforts of officers working to safeguard communities using modern policing practices.
Inspector General of Punjab Police Usman Anwar congratulated SP Banish Fatima for her achievement, praising her for raising Pakistan’s profile on the international stage. He described her as a valuable asset to the Punjab Police.
SP Banish Fatima also holds the distinction of being the first female Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) in Rawalpindi—a significant achievement in itself.
