Thus, England also gained the lead over Pakistan in the first innings.
At the end of the third day of the first Test, England had scored 492 runs for 3 wickets.
Earlier, the Pakistan team was bowled out for 556 runs in the first innings against England.
In the first innings, Pakistan scored 3 centuries, captain Shan Masood scored 151 and Abdullah Shafiq scored 102 while Salman Ali Agha remained not out scoring 104 runs.
