England Batters Dominance Continue in Multan

The Multan Test match between Pakistan and England entered the fourth day.

Shortly after the start of the day’s play, English batsman Joe Root completed his double century, his sixth double century.

Thus, England also gained the lead over Pakistan in the first innings.

At the end of the third day of the first Test, England had scored 492 runs for 3 wickets.

Earlier, the Pakistan team was bowled out for 556 runs in the first innings against England.

In the first innings, Pakistan scored 3 centuries, captain Shan Masood scored 151 and Abdullah Shafiq scored 102 while Salman Ali Agha remained not out scoring 104 runs.

Apart from this, Saud Shakeel was dismissed for 82, Naseem Shah for 33, Babar Azam for 30 and Shaheen Shah Afridi for 26 runs.

On behalf of England, Jack Leach took 3 wickets, Gus Atkinson and Brayden Carrs got 2 wickets, while Joe Root, Shoaib Bashir and Chris Woakes got one wicket each.
