192 Palestinian Students to Study in Pakistan

Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman revealed that this arrival is part of a larger initiative, with 192 Palestinian students scheduled to arrive through various flights. He noted that these students will continue their higher education in medical and dental fields at different universities across Pakistan.

To support this effort, the Alkhidmat Foundation, along with the Global Relief Trust and Doctors of Rehman, is providing essential cooperation. Dr. Hafeez expressed gratitude to the Government of Pakistan, the Palestinian Embassy, and the medical colleges and universities involved in facilitating the students.

“We held meetings with officials from the Palestinian Embassy, the Government of Pakistan, and various educational institutions to ensure the students could pursue their education here. They will be provided with all necessary facilities, including education, food, and accommodation,” Dr. Hafeez said.

Ongoing Support for Palestinians

Dr. Hafeez further highlighted that the Alkhidmat Foundation has been actively involved in relief efforts in Gaza since the start of the conflict, providing essential services such as food, shelter, and medical aid. In addition to the operations in Gaza, the foundation has extended support to Palestinian students not only in Pakistan but also in Egypt, Turkey, and other countries.

Departure from Cairo

The students were seen off from Cairo Airport by representatives of the Pakistani Embassy in Egypt and officials from the Alkhidmat Foundation. The initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Palestinian students in their pursuit of education amidst challenging circumstances.

This educational cooperation serves as a beacon of hope for Palestinian students, offering them the opportunity to build a brighter future through medical and dental education in Pakistan.
