Honor has officially started the global rollout of its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V5, following its initial debut in China this July. The device is now available across several European countries, with prices starting at €1,999 in Europe and £1,699.99 in the UK.

Pricing, Colors & Early Offers

Honor is offering the Magic V5 in Ivory White, Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown. Early-bird promotions across regions include free tablets, TWS earbuds, and outright discounts. Buyers will also receive a free screen replacement within the first 12 months, adding extra peace of mind for early adopters.

Display & Performance

The Magic V5 features a 7.95-inch OLED inner display and a 6.43-inch OLED cover display, both delivering 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the foldable supports up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, ensuring flagship performance.

Camera System

On the back, the Magic V5 sports a triple-camera setup:

  • 50MP wide sensor
  • 50MP ultrawide lens
  • 64MP telephoto unit

This versatile combination positions it as a serious competitor in the premium foldable camera market.

Battery & Charging

The phone houses a 5,820mAh battery, supporting 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Despite its size, the Ivory White variant is slim at 8.8mm and weighs just 217g.

Availability & Market Impact

After low-key launches in Bulgaria, Romania, and Malaysia, the Magic V5 is now making a full-scale global debut. With premium pricing, flagship specs, and bundled promotions, Honor is directly challenging Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series and other major foldables in the global market.
