Vietnamese Record for Recycled Bottle Artwork
Coca-Cola Beverages Vietnam set a national record on December 9. The Vietnam Record Organisation (VietKings) recognized this achievement. The artwork features six massive curved walls. Coca-Cola Vietnam Recycled Bottles (100,000 units) form the structure. This artwork highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability.
The Details of the Eco-Friendly Display
The walls span a total length of over 100 metres. Each wall uses $300\text{ml}$ rPET bottles. rPET stands for recycled PET plastic. They showcase the company’s journey towards a circular future. The display features images and video clips. These highlight the brand’s heritage and plastic waste strategies. This artwork symbolizes the company’s dedication to the environment.
New Manufacturing Plant and Circular Economy Focus
The company chose the Tây Ninh Province factory for the display. The CEO, Milly Cheng, also introduced their new manufacturing plant here. This third plant had a significant investment of $\text{US\$136}$ million. Importantly, this is Vietnam’s first $\text{F\&B}$ plant with $\text{LEED Gold}$ certification. This plant features a unique seamless supply model. It connects directly with its can supplier. Moreover, the site hosts the first Coca-Cola museum in the country.
Inspiring Recycling Action
The CEO hopes the record inspires further action. She emphasized responsible recycling among the public. She believes every single recycled bottle makes a difference. This reinforces the idea of a greener future for Vietnam. The company is advancing circular economy solutions. This includes reducing plastic waste for future generations.
